How to get there

The Aalto University campus can be conveniently reached from Helsinki city center via metro (the “Aalto University” stop).

The Aalto University campus can be reached from Helsinki-Vantaa airport for example by combining the airport train with the metro, changing at Helsinki’s Central Railway Station.

Public transport in the metropolitan region is in general versatile, convenient, and fairly reliable. The easiest way to use the public transport system is to download the HSL app on your phone.

Here are some options for accommodation. There are several hotels in Otaniemi within walking distance to the venue. Optionally, Otaniemi is connected to Helsinki city center by a direct metro line, with frequent departures and travel taking only 15 minutes.
